Wow! Am I glad to have this done!! It was quite a job quilting it, especially with a deadline. I spent more time changing thread, changing needles, cleaning needles and rethreading!

So, here it is! I call it "My Favorite Places" because the top represents the Monterey Bay and the bottom represents Hawaii. My favorite places!

[:D] HI, I'm a new poster but frequent reader. I own a 7570 and was so excited to get my Ultimate Box yesterday but I'm having trouble writing to my card. I bought the box without a card because I already had a blank creative card. The program says that the designs have been written but the 7570 screen just shows scribbles. When I bring the card back to the Box and ask it to read the card, it ...

Hi all,

I just received my Pfaff 1473 and I want to take a peek inside to see if I need to take it to the shop for a good "once-over", tune up and wax.

I'm not sure, however, how to remove the top of the machine. Not as simple as it might appear, and I'm sure not too complicated.

Any tips appreciated. I may just put her in the car and let the pro's tune it up.

Hi all.

I just waltzed into a 1473CD and will now be comparing it against my 2042.

Talked to the local dealer and his take was first to point to the age of the 1473 vs the 2042, yet he expressed that the 1473 offered more in the way of stitches, etc.

Anyone here have experience with both machines, and be willing to share some thoughts? I don't have the machine yet; however, it should be ...

[:-/] Hi there, I am new to all this so please forgive me if the question has been answered before.
I have enjoyed using the 7570 seldomly using the embroidery attachment or the very confusing to me PCDesigner which I found too hard even with Patti Palmer's CD tutorial.

Now I am studying for a City and Guilds in Historical Heirlooms/Machine Embroidery I would like to be able to print and d...

Should I buy a Pfaff 300e embroidery only machine?????

Hi Everyone,

I am considering this machine, maybe, yes, no. So confused with so many of them.

If you have or have had this make and model, do tell the good, the bad and the ugly about this machine.

I know nothing about embroidery only machines and presently have a pathetic budget for one. Oh, do they have a foot pedal??
See, I told you, nothing. I know nothing.

My GD's would lik...

I am in the market for a new sewing machine and am considering a used pfaff lifestyle. The dealer is asking $400. they also have a new one in the store for $600. Has anyone had one of these machines - any input on it, and would you pay the extra $200 for the new over the used model?

Hi all. Wow, it's been a long time since I've been here.
Hope everyone here has been doing well.
I need some information about a machine I recently purchased. A Pfaff 230 in a cabinet. I'm excited about the machine, however, I've not yet picked it up, so I don't have model numbers, etc. to share.
From what I've read, the 230 is a real workhorse and I wonder if the machines (which I've been told...

2/3/4 thread, one of Pfaff's most popular models, easy to thread and use, stitches beautifully....has been lonesome sitting unused in closet and seeks new home. There is some slight discoloration as she's aged (hey which of us looks like we did ten years ago?! ) but is performance perfect, have worked for the dealer for years so machines are well tuned and maintained. $250/shipping.

Calling any 2170 Upgrade experts

Hi Pfaff Friends,

I am trying to upgrade my 2170 with the latest upgrade available on the Pfaff site which includes the new stitches from 331-351. I have failed miserably. I have checked all my connections but my sewing machine displays the message:

(unknown memory type)
ERROR

I live in the UK so Pfaff S.O.S is not available to me.

Can anyone please help?
